Hi everyone, Aidan here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at and later we'll be showing you how to install this Yakima JetStream Roof Rack System on our 2023 Volkswagen Tiguan. This is the one with the 50 inch long crossbars, but we offer a kit here at etrailer with a 60 inch long crossbar. But the beauty of these Yakima bars is that they have a continuous channel on the underside. So in theory, you could get an even longer bar if you wanted. I don't know that I would. more

Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today I have a Yakima roof rack system with the 50 inch long bars and the TimberLine towers. We'll take a look at how it fits our 2022 Volkswagen Taos. So your Volkswagen Taos has a raised rail meaning there's a rail that goes up but you can also fit things underneath it. Now because of how small it is, this actually doesn't fit perfectly for all roof rack brands. So some roof racks need a special clamp that's smaller in order to securely fit around this rail system. But since the Yakima TimberLine towers have a strap that go around, then you don't have that issue. more

Hey everybody, Ryan here at e-trailer. today on our 2021, Volkswagen Tiguan, we're going to be showing you how to install the stealth hitch, hidden trailer hitch receiver. But before we do that, why don't you check it out and make sure that this is the right setup for you So first and foremost, the main thing that's really going to separate this hitch from a lot of the others, is the fact that you can remove the receiver tube opening whenever you're not using the hitch, and what that's going to, you know, allow to happen is, you know, we're going to be able to maintain a 100% factory type appearance on the back of our Tiguan. You know, you're not even going to be able to tell there's a hitch here at all, unless you're literally on the ground looking up, trying to find it, you know, but other than that, you're never going to know it's there. With that said there too, you know, you want something that's going to be easy to use whenever you are ready to use a hitch. That way, it's not a big ordeal to try to get everything going, just to use your accessory. more

The ETBC7 kit is gonna be designed for vehicles that want to tow a trailer with brakes on it, but don't have a factory tow package on the car. It's gonna give you all the proper wiring to run inside the vehicle, so you can add a brake controller. It's also gonna give you your 7-pole plug at the back so it can match the 7-pole plug on the trailer to provide you with that brake signal to your trailer. more

Yakima Roof Rack Fairing Review - 2013 Volkswagen Jetta- Video
Today on our 2013 Volkswagen Jetta we will be test fitting the 44-inch fairing for the Yakima Rooftop Crossbars, part #Y07048. To begin our test fit, we will place our fairing on the roof of our vehicle. We will fit the clips around the bar being sure that our fairing is centered. Once we're sure our fairing is centered, we will secure the clip at both ends with a bolt and a wing nut. With everything tight and secure, that will complete our test fit for the Yakima 44-inch fairing, part #Y07048 on our 2013 Volkswagen Jetta. . more

Yakima Roof Rack Fairing Review - 2013 Volkswagen Passat- Video
Today on our 2013 Volkswagen Passat, well be test fitting the Yakima Fairing for Yakima Roof Rack Cross Bars, part number y07048. Now with our roof rack and cross bars already assembled, well take the fairing and set it onto the front cross bar getting it as centered as possible to ensure the most aerodynamic fit. Well then use the included bolt and wing nut to secure the fairing to the cross bars on the two outside holes of the fairing. And that completes todays test fit for the 44-inch fairing by Yakima for Yakima Roof Rack Cross Bars, part number y07048, on our 2013 Volkswagen Passat. more

Yakima Roof Rack Fairing Review - 2012 Volkswagen Passat- Video
Today we're working with a 2012 Volkswagen Passat and we're going to be test fittingthe Yakima 44" Fairing, part number Y07048. Now, we've already got our fairing put together and we're ready to mount it up on ourcrossbar. We'll take the four clips and fit them around our front crossbar. We do wantto make sure that the fairing is centered between the Q Towers. Once we've done that,we go back and insert our carriage bolts into the two clips at the end and tighten themdown with a wing nut. And with that our fairing's installed and we're ready to hit theroad. more

Yakima Roof Rack Fairing Review - 2000 Volkswagen Beetle- Video
Today on our 2000 Volkswagen Beetle, we'll be installing the 44" fairing for Yakima roof rack crossbars. Now, to begin our installation, all we need to do is put the fork hooks around the front crossbar. At the outer hooks, we'll put the carriage bolt through and tighten it down with the wing nut. With that done, our fairing is secured to the crossbars and our roof rack system is a little quieter. And that completes our test fit of part number Y070048, the 44" fairing for Yakima roof rack crossbars, on our 2000 Volkswagen Beetle. more

Today on this 2012 Volkswagen Tiguan well be test fitting the Yakima 44-inch Fairing part number Y07048. To mount the frame to the front crossbar, well fit all four clips around our bar. Well make sure that the Fairing is centered from left to right and is seated properly against the roof. Once weve done that, we can take our carriage bolts and wing nuts and use them to tighten down the outermost clips on either side of the Fairing. And just like that, our fairings installed and were ready to get on our way. That does it for our test fit of the Yakima 44-inch Fairing part number Y07048 on our 2012 Volkswagen Tiguan.. more

Today we have a 2012 Volkswagen Jetta and we'll be test fitting the Yakima 44" Fairing for the Yakima Round Bar Roof Racks, part number Y07048. To attach the fairing we'll fit the clips around our round crossbar. We'll make sure we position our fairing evenly from left to right. Once we've done that we'll take our carriage bolts and wing nuts and feed them to the clips on the end and then tighten them down. And with that our roof fairing is installed and we're ready to hit the road. That does it for our test fit of Yakima's 44" Fairing for their Round Bar Roof Racks, part number Y07048 on a 2012 Volkswagen Jetta.. more

Replacement Tail Light Light Bulb Installation - 2005 Volkswagen Jetta- Video
Today on this 2005 Volkswagen Jetta we are going to be replacing a burnt out tail light bulb using part number A1156B from Optronics. To access the tail light assembly we will need to pull back the covering and we can access the tail light assembly back here. Before we start disconnecting any wires we are going to go up to the front and pop the hood and disconnect the battery. To remove the tail light assembly what we need to do is disconnect the top harness and lift up the two tabs on the bottom and the whole assembly will slide out. To remove the bulb push it down and rotate it counter clockwise and it will pop out. Next take the replacement bulb and it into the fixture. With the new bulb in place all we have to do is remount the fixture and connect the battery. We have reinstalled the trunk lining and reconnected the battery. Now all we have left to do is test it out. There you have it for the 1156 replacement light bulb from Optronics. more
